Raw beef mixed with tons of spices, mustard and egg yolk served on over-fried toast? Wait a minute folks, our tartare weeks are going to be a whole lot different! We've prepared a tuned menu of 4 tartare specialties that will take your thinking about this traditional pub treat to a whole new dimension.

From the end of September you can come and taste 4 variations of tartare, which we have tuned to absolute perfection. Unfortunately (or thank God?), all the legends about wild Tatars who stored raw meat under the saddle of horses, where it was grounded and then consumed in this way have been debunked over time. Tartar steak first appeared in the early 20th century in the chef's kitchen, where else but in the gastronomic cradle of Europe, France. It was originally served with raw egg yolk, capers, onions, Dijon mustard and tartar sauce, from which it subsequently took its name. However, after more than a century of development, you can taste tartare made from different types of meat, with a huge variety of seasonings, or even without meat at all. So what original recipes will you be able to try with us?

At the top of the menu you will find our fish candidate. It is Sashimi tuna tartare, which we complement with sweet exotic papaya, sesame oil, chilli and affila sprouts. To accompany it, we've chosen a toasted bruschetta, which will suit it much better than the classic oil-soaked bread toast.

A little closer to our usual idea of tartare is another upcoming piece, the Veal Tartare. You can expect a creamy taste of yolk Zabaionne with whiskey, pink pepper and smoked salt. You can load it up on the buttery brioche we'll serve with it.

If you like beef classics, certainly try our Beef Argentina tartare. It is served with quail egg, Bordeaux mustard, shallots, truffle oil and garlic chips.

Finally, we have something for those of us who aren't completely comfortable with meat, but would like to accompany their carnivorous friends and maybe try something new. Our Veggie Tartare consists of peas, baby carrots and avocado. We flavour this basic vegetable mix with goat cheese, pistachio crumble and agave syrup. You can munch on it together with a French baguette.

If we've tempted you even a little bit, be sure to stop by and explore this originally French specialty. Make your reservation on our website or by calling +420 778 545 778. We look forward to seeing you!
